Default Filly? Are you still out there?

Filly, if you are still out there can you write me and tell me how the womentowomen meds are working for you? I just started...my 5th day of meds and p. cream. Still working on Schwarzbein though! -e- (gwoman30~yahoo.com)

I don't use the Progesterone cream. I didn't like the ideas of having periods again. I take an oral RX with estradiol and progesterone combined. I was on a combo of .5 mg Estradiol and 100 mg progesterone once a day which I loved - almost no hot flashes but when they rechecked my bloodwork my estrogen level was too high. Then I tried .4 mg / 100 mg but had two many hot flashes (although not anywhere near what I had before taking RX). So now I alternate each day. One day I take the higher dose and the next day I take the lower dose. I just mark my calendar so I don't get confused.

Now I get very few hot flashes although using my blowdryer always triggers one. I still wake up in the night but usually get right back to sleep. I'm not sure if this is what you were asking about. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

I was on on Sp I, for 3 months lost not weight and went off it. I have been reading all of your posts and it seems like maybe I haven't given it enough time. Should I buy the new one or can I follow the old one. I can't lose weight no matter what I do I have cut down on my food intake and it makes no difference. Any help would be appreciatede

Default just been on TSP for a few days now...

and my suggestion would be to re-read the books specifically her latest one, revisit your food plan...because cravings are minimal for me...I can take or leave sugar and for now I am leaving it, which is a miracle in itself! I have to agree with a previous post "overall I am feeling a little better, I think primarily from getting more sleep. I also feel more in control of my eating" I am also exercising a little...not that 'you have to run 10 miles now since you ate that slice of pizza". Not that I could run 10 miles but my guilt would feed right into that hateful self talk. I have never felt this in control of my eating as with TSP. I am also taking vitamin supplements from womentowomen.com (who advocates TSP) and using progestrone cream. -e-

Jan -

I've been on SPII (not all that different from III, I think) for about six and a half months; lost nothing the first month; have lost about 2 lbs/month since then. It's slow, but I think it's very healthy, and once you get used to the new way of eating, it's pretty easy. I don't really feel deprived.

I'd probably lose a little faster if I didn't use so much cream, but cream is THE BOMB! It makes everything better!
