Ingredients in Morrisons pork crunch per 35g bag:

Pork rind, Yeast extract, salt, dextrose, wheat flour, onion powder, natural colourings, natural flavourings (Caspsanthin).

Carbs- NIL
Sat Fat: 4.7g
Cals: 203

The only questionable ingredient there is the wheat flour, but it's 0 carb per bag- it also says 0 carbs per 100g so you're safe

Darn - the same as the ones I usually buy - why do they feel the need to add wheat and sugar (dextrose) into a savoury snack?!?!?!

So not a true zero carb product, the usual thing of giving the numbers per serving size rather than per 100 grams to get a smaller number. Can you list the other numbers when you have time so I can run them through a hidden carb calculator ?

Apparently in the USA you can buy some with only pork skin and salt in them. It seems those don't get across the pond.

Per 100g:

Protein: 58.8g
Carbs: NIL
Sugars: NIL
Sat Fat: 13.5g
Cals: 579
Fibre: 0.6g
Sodium: 1.2g

Those are the only numbers I can get. It doesn't give the amounts of wheat flour and dextrose on the packet.

I figure they would still be v.low in carbs- so fine a couple of times a week.

If you find any evidence of hidden carbs please let me know.

Did it list a total fat number as well as the sat fat number?
Using those numbers with no total fat number gave a hidden carb number of 52!!

I think the nutrition info given was incomplete as it only lists the saturated fat in the serving, not the total fats.
Because the total fat number is missing when I typed the number of grams of fat, protein and carbs plus the total calories into a hidden carbs calculator it stated that there were about 52 grams of carbohydratesworth of calories unaccounted for in the information.
The hidden carb calculator always assumes the fat and protein grams are accurate and so any discrepency must be from uncounted carbs. However I am guessing most of the difference is because the total fat grams were not included in the numbers beau listed

I have a packet at home with the total fat numbers on. I will post these later so you can find out the hidden carbs.

I hope there isn't loads of g's- I've scoffed 3 packs this week!!!

Looking at the ingredients I doubt if there are loads of grams of carbs in them.
