Question 17 Day Diet

I have been doing the 17 DD for awhile now, and am having success. It is essentially low carb cycling. The first cycle no carbs except from unlimited vegetables, 2 fruit servings daily, and 2 dairy/probiotic servings daily. The second cycle adds 2 natural carb servings daily. Just curious if anyone is using!!!

Congrats on your weight loss! One comment about the 17-day plan - it's also fat-restricted (in addition to the carb cycling.)

I did it for a little bit and had tremendous success with it. I'm planning on starting up again. I really do like the restrictiveness of it the first 17 days. People think that this diet is only 17 days, but there are several steps, each one lasting 17+ days, that help you develop good eating habits over time. You can tailor it to make it more LC friendly if you wanted, but eh, if it works for you, it works for you.

I'm not doing this diet, but my sister and BIL are, and they are having great success on it! They have both lost a lot of weight (like 20-30 pounds) since the beginning of March.
