If you want to know all about the program you can read Bill Phillips book, Body For Life.
BFL is an eating and exercise program. Eating consisting of six meals a day. Exercise consisting of alternating weight training and cardio six days a week.
BFL is a lower-carb program but is not as low as Atkins although there are many people who follow the BFL exercise program while eating the Atkins way.....
I LOVE the program. It takes dedication to get started but it has been the best progam that I've found works for me.
