Default Thyroid Info

Here is some basic information about the thyroid.

<<<You should always ask your physician about information pertaining to your particular case, since he/she is more familiar with your medical history.>>>

Thyroid gland consists of two lateral lobes joined by an isthmus. The gland lies in front of the trachea.

Here is some info on thyroid function, tests, and diseases....

http://health.yahoo.com/health/encyclopedia/t.html

most of the info should be sufficient in there...

This is also a good site...

just scoll down to the middle...

Well I hope this helps... remember its best to take the advice of the doctor, since they know your history better than anyone...

Supbughan:

Hey sorry about what happened... I am at the college library and some of the computers here are old... apparently, I had too many programs running and then I opened the chat window... the computer crashed, so I had to wait to get another computer. Sorry about the wait... I dont have my clinical book on my to tell if they are good or not for sure. (but sounds good) on the CBC report they usually have a range next to the number. You can compare from there. Otherwise the nurse or doctor can intrepret the report for you...

HTH,
Korry
