Will using machine still get me into ketosis?
I am going to start osteopathy tomorrow, i injured my lower back last year while squatting whey to heavy.
I have been to the chiro ( 2 of them), and massage therapie.
My x rays dont show nothing unusual, my disk are good.
Many insiste that i am blocked from the neck.
I have been training so on but not has usual for the past year.
I have decided to try the ketogenic diet again because i beleive in it and add great results in the past.
Right now i swim and thats about it, but i am stuck , i started the diet last week at 212 pounds, and now am at 205 pounds.
I dont wanna do no cardio, if i run the pain comes back right away, or do any cardio with impact on the lower back.
I have found a gym near my house, its very small thats why i passed infront of it and could barely see it.
The gym opens at 6am in the morning and since i am looking for a job right now i could go very early.
I know that training on an empty stomach is a good thing for fat burning, so i could mix up things like swimming 3 times a week, wish seems to help my lower back and posture ( my posture is terrible and i have to work on this.), also i feel that i have gained a bite of mass.
I would like to try with the machines, there are machines for every muscle in the body, i think for legs theres about 5 of them, chest 2-3.
I can do some chin up wish i would keep because they work fine, i dont ever wanna squat or deadlift again.
I would be training intense even if i dont put maximum weights, i turned 30 last year and i would like to watch my joints too, avoid front shoulder pains and knee pains that often come from lifting to heavy.
Thank you everyone.
