With 20 gms of carbs to spend, you could make yourself quite an interesting veggie omelette. Or add scrambled egg and your choice of meat to a veggie stir fry. You could add a handful of nuts, they're pretty carby.

I think you are missing the whole point of low carbing. You do not want your body using carbs as an energy source, even while working out. You want your body to use up it's glycogen stores and start burning fat for fuel. It looks like you are probably new to LCing so once you've gone into ketosis, the feeling like crap stage passes but you have to stick with it.

It's common for bodybuilders to have almost all carbs right before a workout (carb loading) and almost no carbs otherwise in order to improve muscle mass and definition.

This, and having some carbs allows you to perform well without any fatigue.

I felt good at the gym, was about 15g carbs.

The Renegade Diet book was a huge shill for a bunch of custom supplements. I don't know if the diet works or not but that alone made me want to close the book and move on. It was kind of like The Warrior Diet in ways but I liked it less. I tried The Warrior Diet awhile ago and did not too bad on it.

Good for you, but I can't do that. I tried and failed, I felt like a psychotic train wreck. I actually had energy while extremely low carb but the whole process made me feel way off and I had so much anxiety that I felt psycho as hell and couldn't do daily functions properly. I don't know why, maybe something to do with serotonin. Even taking valium was of no help.
