Default Power of 10 workout?

Anyone else trying this? You work out infrequently - every 3 - 10 days, depending on your personal recovery time. Work super slowly (it's strength training - 10 seconds up with the weight, 10 seconds down) until you simply cannot move the weight anymore. HOLY COW what a workout!

I've been doing the "Slow Burn" workout for about 6 months, it's great stuff. I dont know the particulars on power of 10, but I thnk the basic principles are the same, or very similar. Slow Burn was developed by Fred Hahn, based on something called Super Slow. He wrote a book on it, along with the Drs. Eades of Protein Power fame and runs a studio here in NYC, I am currenly going there twice a week.

The short and sweet of it is:

a workout only takes 20 plus minutes.
you only need one or two per week
you move the weights very slowly, to avoid letting momentum do the work and to keep it safe.
it's safe to do the workout alone, if you have access to machines
you do one set per exercise
you train to failure, ie. you do each exercise, slowly, until you simply cannot move it any more (and boy does it burn when you get close to that point!)

it seems to been working great for me, I have muscles popping out everywhere, and I am much much stronger. I used to have trouble picking up my gf, now I can carry her around the room no problem! (and she's gained some weight too!)
