I make the bacon and cabbage together. I will definetly have to try adding the bay leaf and the vinigar

With some saying it tastes like the filling of an egg roll, it makes me want to roll it into a LC tortilla & fry. I'll have to try it!

I had this tonight for supper and it was GREAT! I grill a lot in the summer and my try the grilled pack version as well. Thanks for that idea.

I do a version with soy sauce, green onions and lots of garlic, chili flakes. Asian delight !

Wow what timing. My kid just found 'egg foo yung' at Linda's LC site, which uses the 'spicy asian cabbage' in it. We have a head of cabbage and the ingredients, so that's what we're making tonight. She adores egg rolls! -- but this will have soy sauce in it and be cooked in egg. I don't think I'll like it, but I'll try it. :-)

I'm finding the longer I do Atkins (over a year now) and the longer I continue to lower salt intake, I don't care for soy sauce much anymore. Using the low-sodium varieties doesn't seem to lower it enough for me. So I'm avoiding soy sauce pretty much altogether these days.
