Default Fudge brownie question...

Hi, Karen~

I was wondering if you could give me some idea what ingredients would spell the difference between a regular "cake"-type brownie and a dense, "fudgy"-type brownie. I'm looking to make the latter, and I do not have a decent recipe.

I was thinking that I'd need at least:

unsweetened chocolate
stevia (the sweetener I use)
almond flour/meal (less than would be called for in a cake-type recipe, yes?)
cream cheese/sour cream/cream??
baking powder (is this needed for fudge brownies?)
egg (or egg yolk only?)

Anything else? I'd like to avoid butter/oil if I can, or at least a small amount. I'm not looking for an Atkins-style way-high-fat content recipe, but I would like a dense chocolately texture. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

Best, Sona

Came across this product while surfing around. And it lists the ingredients.

It got a good review at the LC Luxury Website
