Judy! YOu look great. I also have a lot of weight that I'd like to lose. I'm worried about having excess skin left over. Did you have any problem with this?

First of all, you need to start your own journal here so that we can talk to you directly!!

Thanks again for the compliment!!

I have some skin issues and am considering surgery but not until 1 yr from my goal date as I want to see how much goes back.

I don't like to elaborate on it as it depresses me to see it in writing. But suffice it to say that I look much better in clothes than without!!

I never worried about the skin because it just did not matter to me as I was most interested in getting the extra weight off my body!! The feeling of my body now makes me so happy that I refuse to allow my skin issues to get to me.

I'm sorry! That was a terribly personal question! I hope that I didn't bum you out!! *whaps self*

I asked because a friend of mine was diagnosed with Cushings and lost weight very quickly after an operation on her pituitary gland. Now, she just had the extra skin taken care of and she is THRILLED.

Journal...ok...I will figure that out. I'm still learning my way around this joint. Thanks!

eta: I think I did the journal right...trying to type with two cats on lap = tricky.

WOW!!
I just wrote in my journal yesterday about me changing from the inside, looking at family issues and what triggers me.....Everything you wrote so graciously I may add, has affirmed to me the great possibility of success, and being passionate about it with the right tools and focus not to mention support!!! You really did get right to the core and seems as though we find our power with all the "unveiling" You have touched me with your honesty, diligence and passion!!!
It's people like you
that urge me on
knowing that amoungst the muck (so to speak)
is freedom and the sense of peace
and power to really do what we got to do!!!

Hey did anyone ever tell you that you look like Merrill Streep?

Thanks for your Honesty and Inspiration!
Monica

I'm celebrating my birthday for the first time in over 15 years. I am having a dinner party for some friends and I'm very happy with myself today.

Still maintaining 5 months after reaching goal.
