Default Back from the Carb Zone!!

Hi!
I am Rosemary. I did Atkins back in 2004 and was successful for about 2 months - went from about 108kgs to 92kgs. I was posting here back then too, so I am a returnee! I felt really great on a LC WOE.

Then I found I was pregnant and stupidly stopped LCing. While breastfeeding (and with Post Natal Depression), I managed to not put it back on too quickly, but as soon as stopped the breastfeeding, the weight piled back on. Mainly cos I'd stopped exercising and was back to my old habits of eating carby junk food.

Anyway, now I am back cos I can't stand feeling so awful all the time (fuzzy headed, moody, bloated etc), plus being way too overweight of course. My DH is getting really sick of my grumpy moods.

Anyone got any advice on convincing a husband who is determinedly of the opinion that eating Low Carb will cause me more problems than just eating a "balanced" way (I am pretty sure he's thinking of the food pyramid)? He doesn't read books but I might be able to get him to read some links on the web.

Anyway I am back and getting myself organised to restart LC again.

cheers
Rosemary
