I've been testing my blood ketones for a week now. I've been in the low end of ketosis morning and night (between .5 to 1.4). Last weekend I tested after I exercised without thinking about it. The reading was double what I had been seeing in the mornings. It got me thinking. This morning I tested before I exercised and then I waited for 25 mins and tested after my treadmill workout. Again the reading was double. So, I know now that my exercise is increasing my fat burning. Just thought I'd share my results.
I retested 1 hr after the high reading and it was back to pre exercise reading. So, the spike doesn't last long. I will check 30 minutes next time to see what it shows then. Just curious how long of a boost I get.
