Going to try the meat/egg after 3 months of stalling...

Good luck with the meat and egg diet. I am thinking about trying it for a few days.

Today's the end of day one. Was kinda rough. I have been super duper fatigued and craving sugar all day. I will weigh tomorrow although I probably won't see results until Thurs morning.

Today I had:
Scrambled eggs & hot dog

2 HB eggs

Chicken and 1 T mayo

1 HB egg

Stir-fried beef strips
Bacon

Lots of water, green tea, diet soda

I guess I never posted my results. It didnt work for me. I didnt lose any poundage- so I went on to try something else- lower cals, and that worked better, I have lost 2 lbs since.

I would check the number of carbs you eat in a hotdog - i've seen some that were 5 or 6 grams of carbs for just 1 hotdog. Now if you eat 3 hotdogs - thats 15-18 grams of carbs in one meal.

If i'd have sugar cravings while on a low-carb WOE, then i'd recheck what I was eating. It usually means that i'm missing some carbs that I think are non-existent in the food i'm eating.

I would also check the amout of salt in the bacon because salt makes your body hold onto water - like chinese food and pizza (you ever notice how thirsty you get after eating these foods). So a lot of your weight could be caused by water.

But if low-cal is the way that works for you, go for it!

I put everything I eat into fitday- I only had the hot dog once and it only had 1 carb. I have been drinking lots of water so I dont think I am retaining it. I think my cals were just too high- (around 2,000) to lose weight.
