Default Delish Substitute for Shake 'n Bake

My husband loves Shake 'n Bake chicken wings so we invented this LC version:

One bag plain Pork Rinds crushed
Double order of the Seasoning from DANDR Cajun Pork Chops as follows -
2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp sage
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
About 3 lbs chicken wings split

- Preheat oven to 375.
- Crush pork rinds well (using a food processor or just crush in a plastic bag with a rolling pin)
- Dampen wings and blot with paper towel.
- Mix spices with crushed Pork Rinds.
- Toss wings with mixture in small batches.
- Place on foiled cookie sheet and bake for 45-50 min.

These are really delicious and they're great cold as a snack the next day. You can use any seasonings you prefer.

BTW, if you want to try the Cajun Pork Chops - which are terrific and very juicy - use half the seasonings, mix in a shallow bowl and cover both sides of 4 center cut boneless pork chops. Cook in 1 tbsp each of butter and olive oil about 4 min per side over medium heat. Ensure pan is very hot before placing chops in. (recipe for Cajun Pork Chops from DANDR)

You know what else is good. Dip your meat in an egg mixture ( egg with salt and pepper) and coat the outside wth crushed nuts. You dont need alot of nuts to accomplish this. I used almonds one night and surprisingly it was very tasty. I think any nut would be a good choice.
