Talking average weight loss first 2 weeks induction?

I was just wondering if some of you would mind posting how many pounds you lost during your first 2 weeks of atkins induction. I think it would help motivate us all. And if it is already posted here somewhere forgive me for bringing it up again however this place is so big I sometimes get lost here and there is no way I can read it all and I am sure to miss or overlook something. You guys are great!

Gwen

I think I lost around 7 or so, but you know we're all different and lose at different paces.

I lost 15. But I am nervous that it was too fast. Typical of me to look a gift horse in the mouth.
I know everyone is different, and I have a lot to lose so does that have a bearing? Not really sure.
I am trying to prepare myself because I know this will slow down!!!

I didn't lose a thing till the third week - talk about a slap in the face - I was here asking exactly the same question too!! lol
Everyone loses differently, I actually did lose inches in that time - something like 10" in two weeks without a single lb dropped. Go figure - I stopped wondering a long time ago!
Just go with the flow - you'll lose as fast as your body wants you to!

I think the first time I lost some rediculous amount likke 26 lbs in first two weeks. Second time around I lost 14 in first two weeks. 3rd time around (I'm naughty lol) only like 9. But I really stuck with it this last time cause everytime I quit I'd gain it all back plus some. That was unpleasant.

Cool I lost 16lbs

I lost 16lbs however remember if you loose big it might mostly be water there for you might hit a point you loose very slow like a brick wall and that does not mean you have stopped loosing... just keep going.

An fair and average expectation of a clean two week induction is between 5-10% of the total amount you need to lose. Anything more than that is a gift and anything less than that is indicative of some level of metabolic resistance.

That said, I did induction for 4 weeks and I didn't weigh in during that time. At the end of the month, I was down 23lbs.

I've been on exactly one week. Went from 328 to 310.8. Which is 17.2 pounds. I've cheated a little bit, ate some mixed nuts and a bunch of buffalo wings over the weekend. My weight also varies alot due to the large amount of water I've been converting.

I think the average is around 10% of what you have to lose, but it varies a great deal from person to person. Whether or not you exercise regularly (and how strenuously you work out), your age, and all kinds of other variables come into play. In addition, men lose far more quickly than women, so never ever compare your rate of loss to that of a man.

20lbs. Very repeatible. 7lbs of water, plus weight after that. Then a plateau. Then about 1lb per week.

I was much busier in those days.
