Default Probiotics - High Fat Better

On an Episode of Food Unwrapped on the UK's Channel 4, they did an experiment with stomach acid showing that the best way to get bacteria into the gut is to eat high fat yogurt (Hardly any got through with Sauerkraut).

Unfortunately, I didn't note which episode it was on and after a brief search couldn't find it.

I find Kefir works well. It's like halfway between milk and yogurt.

I wonder if fermented vegetables taken with fat would fare any better. In an ancestral diet dairy did not exist - there must be some way to achieve a balanced microbiome without it!
