Default MRI Safe?

I had a hurt foot for 3.5 years and was really looking forward to hiking. My first hike came with very weird symptoms. I was all for the MRI and pelvic scan the dr ordered until the place told me about the MRI. It has a dye that is toxic to the kidneys but they said almost everyone's kidneys are able to regenerate in a few days. I have to sign a form that I won't hold them liable for ruining my kidneys. Completely freaked out I cancelled the MRI, this is the same place that followed none of the drs directions for my foot MRI and the podiatrist described as useless. I don't know what to do the insurance covered me only to go to this particular place. My dr is saying its crucial to do it asap, my old dr just left and I've only seen the new one the one time.

Default

Dr friend says it only hurts people with kidney problems - so getting that tested first. Some of it stays in your body forever - usually in the brain and bones. Gee that makes me really want to do the test.
