That's a good observation, as I've often wondered about accuracy in findings with an extract being applied to a system in a way different from normal consumption. There's definitely a complex entourage effect that occurs when consuming something as food that is missing from these studies. In fact, Petri Dish studies are notoriously inaccurate due to the sterile, isolated environment impacting the results and making it difficult to relate to a "real world model."
