Some worked for me, some didn't. I could do Atkins shakes. I don't have them anymore, but they did help me out as I was getting started. Atkins bars are a problem. They pushed some buttons in my brain that remind me too much of candy. I would overeat them and get terrible gas from the sugar alcohol in them. Atkins bars are now off plan for me. I won't eat them.
I did do the low carb wraps a couple of times. I enjoyed them and I didn't overeat them. They seemed to work EXCEPT that they tended to push me over the line with my net carbs and caused me to put on 5 pounds of water weight every time I had one. It took several days for the water to come off. I liked the wraps. They made good 'wrap burgers'. But I didn't like the grief with the scale. Plus, they have wheat in them and I decided to go gluten free. I haven't had a LC wrap in over 2 years.
It isn't really a matter of what is allowed and what isn't. I see it as a matter of what works for you and what doesn't. Make this WOE the process of figuring yourself out. By the time you are done you will have learned how you should be eating to maintain your weight.
