Well it looks like we will be dog owners, again. Dh and the girls are going to pick up 'Rufus' tomorrow morning. He is a German Shepherd/terrier mix. He is in a foster home with a family that has 3 daughters and other pets. Perfect!

Now help me think of a better name.

Hold on. Dh and girls drove two hours round trip only to find that the dog had been given to someone else. Yes they knew we were coming, talked to the people at the shelter YESTERDAY. We are not happy campers.

And that night out to a hockey game? Didn't happen. The babysitter forgot to come over. She was working her other job till 10pm.

Took the girls to see 'Horton Hears a Who' - it was actually pretty cool.

That's unfortunate Iowa. Are the girls taking it well? At least they got to see a fun movie.

They are getting over it. We told them we are not giving up. Next time I think it will just be dh and I getting the dog and making it a suprise.

Probably a good bet. Coffee is on. Mint tea for us sickies. Have a good Monday.

I have lots of running to do - return library materials, return video to the store, pick up the diaper bag we left at church, drop off clothes to the consignment shop. Coffee to go, please!

Hey... Was just catching up on an epi of Corner Gas (a 30 min Canadian comedy show) and who should show up but Duane Chapman! I hope he can things sorted out so that we can see him on A&E again.
