Default chicken breasts broccoli & cheddar cheese

I would fry or sautee the chicken breast with the seasoning of your choice (I like Italian seasoning, or cajun or whatever you have handy). then you can microwave the broccoli for a few minutes (depends on if it is fresh or frozen how long) and melt the cheese over the top. Cheddar is not the smoothest melting cheese so you may want to put it on your chicken instead. I LOVE Lemon Pepper Seasoning Salt on Broccoli - but it is salt. So be careful with how much...

This is a staple dinner for me - I usually make my chicken then put a slice of ham and some mustard and melt swiss cheese on it and have a side of broccoli...

Does anyone know how to make good cooked broccoli? I had some a couple of times at Sizzler, and man is it good! I'm thinking it's steamed and then some melted butter is mixed with it. This is something I've never cooked, but I stocked up on broccoli today and would sure like to give it a try!

I would stir fry the chicken and broccoli. I some times make a sauce with some lemon juice, water, soya sauce, splenda, mustard and garlic. Then sprinkle the cheese over the top and let it melt.

I usually use a collapsible steamer basket ($$ at most department stores) to steam my broccoli, though a rice steamer works well too. A couple inches of water and about 5 minutes on the stove, cooked, but not mushy. Then, yes, butter! I never seem to get tired of broccoli.
