Default Thinking of switching to the Beach

I'm on Atkins, nearing the end of a 2-week induction. My weight loss has been slow but I'm okay with that. The plan has been wonderful for breaking my cravings for carb-laden foods. The problem is I have headaches every single day, I've yet to feel that promised renewed energy, and now that the novelty has worn off, I'm starting to find the food options restrictive. I long for a piece of sprouted grains bread or some toasted almonds on my salad. I also have a hard time getting in the recommended amount of fat so that may account for the slow weight loss.

It would be great to hear from someone who's done both plans. Do you find SB easier or harder, and are you having more or less success with it than with Atkins?

I was on Atkins and switched.
I did so much better when I switched to the Beach the first time around then on Atkins, made it all the way to goal and slacked off after some surgeries and let myself go again.
Now that I have started South Beach again for the second time, I already know what I am allowed to have and what not. Atkins just sort of got too boring for me with all the meat. Too limited on the Vegetables and Fruits and Dairy that I like to eat.
But you have to find out what works best for yourself. There are a lot of People on each plan that swear by it and had success.
Good luck in which ever way you decide to go.
