Is Fern 2340 in the forum the same Fern from Success Stories and is TrainerDan the same Dan mentioned in the story?

And were Fern 2340 and TrainerDan an item at some time or another? They sure like to rib each other.

Yes, I am the Fern from the success story and yes, Dan is my boyfriend. And a BIG YES, we like to rib each other! We keep each other on our toes.

Yep, Fern and I are an item. We rib each other here on the board, as well as when we are together.

But I can beat her at basketball ... well, one time anyway.

Hey now!
There goes the ribbing!!!
I could be nice about it BUT you just opened a can of worms, buddy!

Yes, everyone, Dan has beat me ONCE when we played basketball one-on-one. Of course he does not mention the fact that I had this absolutely horrible day at work, I locked my keys my car, etc, etc. But no excuses, he beat me once.

HOWEVER, I have beaten him every other time we have played. I would say we've played a good 10 games now and I come out victorious!! As a matter of fact, the first time we hung out we played and I beat him 12-2..... no wonder he wanted to go out with me again!!

hehehe

Talking speaking of kicking butt...

Dan, is my memory correct in remembering that you are hard at training in preparation for some serious competitions soon??

Just wanted to wish you all the best, and incredible success to you. Yer #1 in my books.

Default blushing ....

Thanks Doreen!

Yes, my training has been pretty intense ... and only getting more and more aggressive as winter approcahes ... Let me take that back: Fern and I are both hard at work training for the upcoming winter basketball season ...

We have designed a full-year training program that is very intense ... so yes, I have been going at it pretty hard ... but so has Fern.

I have flirted with the idea of competing in bodybuilding, but even in "natural" shows, the drug use is so astronmical and not worth it to me. So, I will remain an athlete ... with a slight bodybuilder's build ... LOL

I also want to add that I kick Fern's butt at Miniature Golf, too.

Ah, the ribbing will stop here!!!!
Now everyone will know that my boyfriend has beaten me once in basketball and once in mini-golf (by 1) but we've only played once. Ok, you have me 1-0 in mini golf but I have you 10-1 in basketball!!!!
And you better kick my butt in the weight room (you've got a few pounds on me boy! )
But I do hold my own pretty well in the weight room for being "just a girl."

Anyway, you done now TrainerDan????

P.S. you only beat me once in basketball b/c I am showing you how to play!!!!
