Question Calculating Carb Counts??

My daughter and I have been testing some of the recipes listed and want to know how to calculate the carb count, effective or not of recipes we alter. For example, we made Bonnie's Blueberry muffins without the topping, walnuts and blueberries. Then put them in the big muffin pan - only one I can find since my move. But we are unsure how to calculate the carb count... Any references would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance and happy lcing

There are lots of books out there that list carb counts by weight or volume. One of those plus a calculator should give you the ability to keep track

Unhappy

I really appreciate the advice, only I have financial restrictions I went through a horrific divorce last year which lead to the incarceration of my ex, and financially 3 kids without support is really tight. I am stretching my budget to the max with this WOL, and really can't afford any more books or the calculator. Is there a website possibly? Again thanks for the assistance. Kim

Cool

I have found that Fitday.com is great for listing all your food intake per day. Try it.

If you click on the Low Carb Tools tab in the orange box at the top of the screen there is a hidden carbs calculator at the bottom right of the screen.
That may help you.

I would put in each ingrediant you use and add the total up on paper.
