Cool WATP'ers question

Hi everyone,
I have been doing the first WATP 1 mile for a couple of months. I started doing it w/o the weights until I stopped sweating, then I added the weights and am still doing that. Today I tried the WATP 1 mile Express with the stretchie. It goes a couple of mins. faster but it seemed much easier to me. I didn't even break a sweat. So, should I continue to do the original 1 mile or should I switch back and forth between the two? I really don't think I'm ready for the 2 mile yet. Do you think they work different muscles?
Thanks,
Alli ~1st time faithful exerciser

I'd say just mix 'em up until you are ready for the 2-mile tape. I only did the express tapes a few times (the stretchie attacked me!) but I think it did work the muscles differently than the weights.

HTH! Paris

I have both the 2 mile and the 4 mile tapes. I do the 4 mile tape once a week because it is an hour long and it is a killer! I also alternate my other days doing the 2 mile with and without the weights! I love WATP! It is so easy and to think that it is actually considered exercise!

If you've been doing the 1 mile for 2 months, you might be more ready than you think for the 2 mile. I have the 1 & 2 mile express DVD. I started in late December with the 1 mile express, but by January I was ready for the 2 mile. I've stuck with the 2 mile ever since. It's tough but definitely worth it... and it's getting easier the longer I do it.

I've thought about moving up to the 3 mile, but I'm not sure I want to give it the extra time. I can't even begin to imagine the 4 mile!!!

Thanks for the tips. I guess I'll check out the two mile soon. I just don't want to hate it KWIM? I have NEVER faithfully exercised until this WOE and I don't want to rush it. The 4 mile sounds WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY far away LOL!!!
After doing both the 1 mile tapes I definitely think the regular one (not Express) is harder. Doing those knee lifts and arm lifts with the weights at the same time is the killer for me in that tape! You can even see a couple of the walkers looking like alright let's get it over with LOL!
Thanks again,
Alli
