Default hand weights

Anybody else carry (and swing) weights while walking? I have been doing this lately, and it seems to generate a nice little high afterwards. But some websites seem to be very down on it - upsets your pace, causes lower back problems, etc. By the way, I see lots of pretty young ladies in spandex doing this in my neighborhood - they look great. I'm an old gaffer in Carhartts and I look dumb as rocks, but it feels great and unless there's a real reason not to I will continue.

I believe that's called the Farmer's Walk. (of course I know that, I live in Iowa)

Not aware of any adverse affects, unless you're trying to haul way too much weight.

I remember heavyhands, seemed like a decent idea to me. Put on the Carhartt's and show 'em how it's done.
