MOMD day 18

I have never made it this far.

The 90 day is about changing anything. One person writes for X minutes a day. Another exercises. You can pick anything, and allow misses.

Do what ever keeps you chugging along.

You can do this Carol Sue!

Arielle.. thanks for being an inspiration!

OK.. on to my own journey..

#no more excuses

I work out a fair amount (need to lift a little more, but very active).. my problem is that although I'm good at getting exercise, I'm an even better eater.

Let me start by listing all the excuses I use on a regular basis:
I don't have time to cook a meal and then clean the dishes
It's just easier to stop by McDonalds
It's just one more thing to keep track of and I've got enough on my plate (lol.. plate.. see what I did there?)
Quitting eating would be easier than to control my eating (true, but I use it as an excuse to not control my eating)
As long as I look in the mirror straight on... I look pretty darn good.. lol
It's not stopping me from doing the things I want to do (but I know I'm headed for a trainwreck eventually)
I just want it! (pick your item, ice cream, french fries, potatoe chips, girl scout cookies)

Ok... so now the reasons I need to do this:
I've started competing in dance again (this time as a pro) so I definitely need to get back in shape.
My girfriend, who I love dearly, wants me to stick around
I want to stick around
I feel better when I'm in shape
I look better when I'm in shape
My confidence improves when I'm in shape
I want to live an active life as long as possible and that will only happen if I get in shape

I lost 60 lbs about 14 years ago... over the years those 60 have slowly creeped back in..

March 26 I declare will be an invasion of confidence, determination, and emotional STRENGTH as I begin my journey back to health, back to ME. I declare March 26 my own personal D-Day.

Daddio-- YOU have always been an inspiration since I found this thread years ago.

And yes , we all have excuses. You just have m ore courage to face them headon and then made appropriate changes.

IMO this comes from having the experience and the tools to suceed.

YOU WILL SUCEED, again!

HOnestly, I find the 90 day challenge more rewarding, and keeps me on track, which inturn allows me to do the MOMD day after day for the first time ever.

YOu are learning, allow yourself errors and misteps, without guilt. guilt is bad news . NOT uplifting. Please please please. Consider journalling for support and look at the 90 challenge to change habits.
