Well..no sleeping late today, weight a gnarly 201.9..but that's okay. I know if I have a decent week, I'll see a 100 something again this week

I don't usually have two good loss weeks in a row, so this was a nice surprise - 2.63 lbs. this past week!

Tuesday am weight was 201.6, and today is a flat 201.0. I could be upset but I'm so happy at seeing I really am just about out of the 200s for good, and I feel so good. I'll take it. I'm still hopeful for a loss this week..we shall see!

Breakfast cm today: 1.6 oz. ny strip steak, 1 egg over easy (no fats used, just used what was on the steak), 2 large radishes. 1 oz. half and half with my decaf.

I love eating the CALP way. It tastes so good to lose this way

hi-
just doing my thing and enjoying life.
RM tonite (in oven)- salad, 1/2 Cornish game hen, small sweet potato, spinach, water.

I'm making 2 whole hens (I cut them in half before baking) so I will either have another half for RM tomorrow or for lunch tomorrow.

Making plans for the long weekend- pool, friends, music, dinners.

GO PAT!!

Default 2nd day in a row under 200

Interesting week so far. Today is still under 200 - though 199.4.

Breakfast cm: 1 feta spinach salmon burger, 1 oz. half and half in my decaf.

The weekend will tell the tale of whether I have a loss for this week, or not. Planning my menu for the next 3 days!!

hi-
planning is good. We went out for a really nice dinner last night and I had a salad, spinach, prime rib, glass of red wine, piece of bread with cheese spread, and raspberries. I took home half of the meat, the berries and the spinach. I will have it either for breakfast or lunch today.

Tonite is a party- the host is a great cook. Sunday and Monday I'm having people over so I'm in control.

Have a GREAT weekend-
E

Eno - I think raspberries are divine! and Prime rib too

Weight this morning is 199.7, despite my backed up issues..sigh. Taking extra mag citrate, lots of raw veggies, tons of water...grrrr.....

Anyhoo..think my body is saying it's ready to be out of the 200s for good. Fingers crossed!

Patricia....celebrating with you in spirit your first weekly average in
w-"one-der-land!"" .....
So absolutely thrilled for you!
Your progress gives me hope everyday also!

I intend to renew my efforts to plan out my CM lunches better but I am learning what I like better & what's the best fit for this meal. I'm trying to learn how to enjoy healthy meals.
I learned I prefer fish based meals most of the time & with a cup of hot cooked vegetables. That meal cooks up real quickly too.
Feeling happy enough at my current weight but want to renew my efforts to
really nail these CAD/CALP principles.
I'm getting in more great walks in the fresh air also & my energy levels are good but I know I over-carb at most Rm's.
I will try to pare those down but I did want to start gradually in stages.

I lost around 9 pounds in 2 months without counting carbs or calories or feeling like I was 'dieting' as such; just trying to follow the CAD principles around 90% of the time.
I just want it to fit into my life & not become too preoccupied with the whole counting aspect for now because I'm too busy with other things at the moment.

I don't celebrate memorial day but "Happy Memorial day" to my U.S. forum friends who do!!
Wishing you all continuing success!

Maryh, congrats on how well you've done so far!

You have to find what works for you within the parameters of cad, and that just takes a bit of time and testing what you like best for cm's, what your body handles best for carbs etc.

Default When this happens, it validates CALP - I think

Whenever I have had a holiday on plan with CALP, and I not only do not see a swing up in weight the day after the holiday, but a new one day low, I know how lucky I am to have found this way of eating, and learned to finally work well within it.

My weight this morning is 198.2. Now I'm dreaming of seeing a 197+ this week!

ps I logged my food for Memorial Day on my blog under Food Log if anyone is interested!
