so here is my 'late dinner' report- I ordered a club soda- she (server from hell) brought me a bottle of pellegrino water and a wine glass. I had to ask for a glass of ice. I didn't order the pellegrino- but at that point.....
I ordered a petit (side ) kale salad. She asked me repeatedly was that I wanted? What about a larger salad? Was I sure?
I acted very relaxed but when we left I told DH I wanted to throttle her! I said but it must have just been my sensitivity. He quietly said no, that she had been unusually intrusive and had made my order into a big deal. I was glad I only had the small salad as we didn't get our food until after 8:30. Sigh.

Tonight's RM: Salad, pickled cucumbers, sauteed mushrooms, grilled beef sausage, french bread, water.
YUMMMMMM!

Eno...sorry to hear about the server, they really can impact a meal

I had a swing up yesterday to 206.6 and today back down to 205.8. Ah So far, on track for some kind of loss this week.

I am participating in the post your weight once a month group, and it is really a nice tool to visually see how much one has lost so far this year. I'm over 21 lbs. Not a speed record, but I'm not going for that

Hi all, was not the best week in terms of daily weights (was on plan) but I did have a loss of .2 of a lb, which I will happily take.

Yesterday was my first experience in years of trying an entrée salad for my rm when eating out. Was fantastic way to have a meal at our favorite Mexican restaurant, will do this again, and try it at my favorite seafood restaurant next time too.

My salad had romaine, chopped tomatoes, chopped grilled, seasoned chicken, cheese shreds, 1/2 avocado, tortilla strips (very thin), fresh corn cut off the cob, fresh crumbled bacon. Salad dressing was on the side and was a chipotle ranch.

Today's weight was 205.6 - I'd be happy with a week of 205s and lower

Pat- you are happy NOW. Don't set yourself up for only being happy when......

Pita was excellent- DH is so proud of himself. I see lots of pita in the future. He even had eggs with pita this morning.

Today RM was salad, PITA, beef sausage, grilled peppers.
I also had 1/4 cup of butter pecan ice cream.

I weighed earlier than usual today, and was very happy to see it still be the lowest of the week (and in a few days). I weighed 205.2.

I now think I will see 204s again this week. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

My cm breakfast today was: 1 gluten-free turkey Italian sausage, 1 oz. cougar gold cheese, 2 stalks celery, 1 oz. half and half. Very satisfying.

Don't worry..how can I not be happy? I've lost over 162 lbs!! I still can't quite believe I am finally getting my body back and looking like "me".

HI-
I know Pat- it is amazing and YOU DID IT ALL!

Just finished RM- yum. Salad, broccoli, chicken breast with a T of ricotta cheese and spinach, small slice of flax bread with butter, water. DH also had kamut (he didn't love it) and ice cream. We are going out to hear some music- he will get a beer and I will have a club soda.

Later-
E

Default 1 year ago...

I decided that what I was doing wasn't working. I was following CALP but my portions were *not* average, and I was beginning to gain.

I decided to trial a way of getting portion size under control, joined Myfitnesspal.com where I set a sensible daily calorie limit, but ignored their settings of how many carb and fat grams I should have per day.

1 year later I've lost 79 lbs. (going by today's single day weight).

I eat by CALP principles for what I eat, how often I eat, how long a meal lasts, gluten-free over 99% of the time, primal quite often.

It works, I'm happy and heading steadily to my final goal

Second time seeing the 202's...matches my one day low from earlier this week of 202.8.

Knowing my pattern, it may be 2 weeks or a bit less before I see a 200 or 199..but it's coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's coming Pat and you had better be ready!
What are you going to do when you hit ONEDERLAND???

Hi-
Rm tonight is going to be good. We are having 2 couples over for dinner- so
apps: Olives, cheese, red pepper dip, celery, crackers
Wine, champagne, club soda

dinner- salad, steak on the grill, baked beans, orzo salad, rolls.

Dessert? Decaf coffee

My plan is to have a can of club soda firs- over crushed ice of course, then a glass of champagne and cheese and olives, then 1/2 steak with the salad and skip the other carbs. Then while everyone has dessert I'll play with it on my plate and have my coffee. This will take me over my hour but should work for me.

For mothers day I hope DH does something ---

Have a great weekend-

Later-
E
