Smile it's been one month.

Hello! I've been on the atkins diet for one month now and have lost 18 pounds. I think I'm doing pretty good, though sometimes I still want pizza or Taco Bell. I find it hard to eat out. Can anyone tell me some good resturants to eat at? Hope to hear from someone soon. Bye!!!!

Wow, you are doing great. It's been almost 1 month for me also but I am not losing as fast as you. I have only lost 6 lbs, which is a bit of a disappointment. I'm sticking to it though. I even managed to get through a REALLY good buffet dinner last night, which really amazed me. The prime rib was excellent!!

As far as places to eat, I have found that almost every chain place like Applebee's, Chilis, even Denny's offers a chicken caesar salad. I just love those (without croutons of course). If I am 'forced' to eat fast food, I just order their Whopper or whatever, but I just ask for the meat, bacon and cheese. Most places have been GREAT about accommodating me.

Keep up the good work, pretty soon you will have as much energy as your two little ones.

You can still eat the tops of pizzas - no pineapple! - or make a "meat-za". Cook a thin layer of seasoned ground beef in a deep dish pizza pan, pour off the juice and cover with pizza toppings. Bake until browned and bubbly.
