Hello all.

This is my second time around with the Atkins diet. Worked wonders last time - 40 pounds in about 3 months. But I quickly went back to my old habits once the weight was off. Not this time! I am back to my pre-atkins weight and miserable. But there's hope. I am as motivated as ever and excited to see the pounds melt off like before. And those Ketostix still work wonders, help keep you going, you can't measure low-fat diet success, other than waiting around for ever...

I am experiencing nausea and sleeplessness, I don't remember going through this before. But the nausea is fading by the day and I consider the sleeplessness a good thing (for now) because I was always so weighed down by carbs. Addicted to sugars and all they do is put me to sleep...

So, for beginners, hang in there, you'll feel great, energetic, motivated...!!!

Long-timers - keep up the great work!!

And for me - wish me luck and I hope to be able to share some thoughts and benefit from yours too

Jen

Default Thanks for telling us newie to hangin there!

This is my first time around, and they say that you get really tired, but I am not getting tired yet. Is it coming, yes I am sure that it is coming. Maybe I can get some help from you sometimes, is that ok? Michelle lowercarbgirl

Welcome to the Forum Jen!

You may want to consider keeping a journal in the Bootcamp/My Journal forum. It really helps to keep you on the straight and narrow.
