MY name is Michelle, and about one year again I had a baby girl. I am 41 with to much weight on me. MY doctor had me on bed rest the whole time, and I gained 140 pounds. Ok yes I just ate to much!. I am from San Diego , and could use alot of support form women out there. I am runing/walking everyday, and now I am going to be on a low carb diet, I hope to hear from you soon. Lowcarbg

Smile Welcome to the Forum Michelle

Hi Michelle

Welcome. U have come to the right place for support, motivation, hard facts, sound advice and tons of laughs.

Have you read any books on LCing? It would help a lot although there is a lot of information on this board. Just work your way through the links in the red bar at the top. If you decide to follow Atkins then you need to go on an Induction very strictly restricting your carb intake to 20g maximum per day.

I would suggest you look through some of the journals and perhaps start your own when you feel ready. It is the best and easiest way of keeping track of your progress.

Happy surfing. Keep in touch.
Take care.

Welcome Michelle!
I'm glad you've found this board! It is a great place for support. My suggestions to you are to take your measurements and a picture of yourself now. You'll love to see the difference in the pictures when you take the after pic! It might be hard to look at the before pic (for me it was) but it definitely helps you see your progress when you see the after pic!!

Good luck to you!
