The mission: Deep ketogenic eating everyday
The rules: Eat less than 20 net carbs per day and less than 15 net carbs at any one meal.
Other parameters: I will give myself up to 5 passes/exceptions throughout the 90 day period, but they cannot be used on consecutive days. These are not free-for-all days, but an allowance to take into account that perfection is not required.

Passes used: 4

Yesterday: 18 net carbs.

1) Daily meditation session on the cushion
2) Eating before noon (EBN).

Observation:

Plodding along. Currently not paying so much attention to When I eat but What I eat - The When part I notice that's it's almost effortless to eat OMAD in the evening - Doing EBN, with heavy activity during the seems to trigger appetites.

To paraphrase Yogi Berra, "I'm sure 90 percent of this is half mental"

Continued observations and still approaching the practice of stated objectives.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.
I missed yesterday - a lot of social activity here and then, just forgot to write.
So only 4 days for me this week. Temp job ended (a blessing)- so back to having more time...

25 min writing, editing, more working with front door, and a few notes on project 2.

25 minutes spent on research this AM and making notes. (It occurred to me that if nothing really ever comes of these projects, at least I had a good time sticking with something creative...)

I'm having a bad flare-up of the arthritis in my back and even meloxicam isn't helping much. It started the day after I hit the Cheetos. I'm not sure if that's related, but it's looking more and more likely that corn is messing me up almost as badly as wheat. Remember when I said "there aren't serious enough consequences to deter me from the junk food?" Be careful what you wish for.

I'm on the 3:30 am shift this week, and I forgot to bring my supplements with me to take with 'brunch'. I packed them up in a pill organizer and put them in my purse for the rest of the week.
