The mission: Deep ketogenic eating everyday
The rules: Eat less than 20 net carbs per day and less than 15 net carbs at any one meal.
Other parameters: I will give myself up to 5 passes/exceptions throughout the 90 day period, but they cannot be used on consecutive days. These are not free-for-all days, but an allowance to take into account that perfection is not required.

Passes used: 3

Yesterday: No time to track. I ate no veggies - just meat, fat, and dairy.

1) Daily meditation session on the cushion
2) Eating before noon (EBN).

Observation:

Not much to report in the way of break thru's - still having difficult time approaching EBN with all the activity I've been involved with. Even daily cushion time is suffering. I'm a hedonist when it comes to boarding - taking time off work to get fixes. No injuries so that's good I'll keep working on my 2 practice items.

Default I thought of something!

I finally thought of something - my exercise is good here, and I am looking for a job, but I have wanted to get back into some writing, so I think this will help me do this. So starting Monday, I would like to do 15 min of writing 5 days a week. This also includes research or going over journal notes. Usually something creative goes over 15 min but that is the minimum. I will go thru April 30 - see where I am at that point.
I may add a sub habit but for now, this is enough. Just moved, orienting, finding a job, having a roomie in a small house - it's about all I can do right now.


goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.

Welcome back mviesprite. I heard a good dhamma talk last evening that gave me some insight into my current hedonistic ways. I will listen again and try to put some of that into practice and reflection. Since last post no EBN - soon maybe

Thud - My primary goal is to overcome my self-centeredness, to no longer look for ways to entertain myself but rather to look for ways to be of benefit to others. It's a long slow road this turning away from the idea that I am the center of the universe but I believe it to be worth the effort.

90 Day Good Habit Workshop Day 1 – 11/5 Sat.

With just one week left in this 90 Day Good Habit Workshop, I will use the time to reboot my low carb lifestyle.

Day 55 - Tue, Jan 1, 2018
Day 60 - Sat, Jan 6
Day 67 - Sat, Jan 13
Day 72 - Thu, Jan 18
Day 83 – Mon, Jan 29

My central good habit at the beginning of this workshop was to record my food each day, no empty days, and at a minimum make a best estimate.
