Default High reverse t3 reversed with t3-deiodinase article

https://www.nahypothyroidism.org/deiodinases/
I like this article for an understanding of problems with the cellular conversion enzyme of t4 to t3. Since TSH checks pituitary conversion and uses another enzyme that's always in abundance you can have a normal TSH and low active thyroid on the cellular level and remain hypothyroid.

My doctor spent three years blaming my sleep and stress levels for a high reverse t3 till I brought in this article and requested only natural thyroid (Naturothroid). Within 3 months my reverse t3 went from above normal to normal.

What difference does Naturethroid make to reverse T3? Did you have rT3 rechecked?

I had very high rT3 on Armour/Naturethyroid. Naturethroid and Armour both contain T4. I had to go off T4 containing meds for 12 weeks to get rid of the rT3. I felt so terrific I stayed I stayed on T3.

I'm on Naturethroid now, I've never seen any difference in the way I feel on the Naturethroid or Armour but maybe the rT3 factor is why I was changed. Except I was on Naturethroid when the high rT3 was diagnosed????

I don't understand.

Going to read the article, hopefully will get it then.
