Cool Am I turtly enough for the turtle club?

Hello. I'm Cheryl. I've been battling the buldge for all my adult life. The most weight I ever lost was from a size 30 to a size 14, and it almost got me, too...it was done too quickly and in extreme dieting and pills and exercise. Now I'm back up almost that big again. I've been going on and on with yo-yo diets and various diets. I've lost up to 35 lbs. before on Atkins, but always got off when hubby or someone waved cake or ice cream in front of me and I'd gain tons back. I just really need some ideas and help. I don't know how many eggs are safe to eat. My Dr. gave me a bill of health, not diabetic or anything. But, she says I need to lose weight NOW or it oculd get that way. I did good today, but it's always day-to-day with me. I get so hungry on this diet. I crave sweets like the dickens.

Default Questions

I was reading an old dried-up thread and found some references to HRT and diuretics stalling weight loss. Can somebody tell why diuretics will cause me to lose slowly? Also, just started HRT a month ago as an experiment, but will gladly drop both if it will help me start losing again.

Eggs are OK to eat in mass quantities unless you are allergic.
