Default sweet pepper chicken WOW!

Hello, this is one of my favorite recipes and I have successfully converted it to LC

Sweet Pepper Chicken

1 whole chicken cut into pieces (wings, thighs, legs, etc.)
1/2 cup sugar free catsup
1/2 cup splenda
1/2 cup soy sause
2 red, yellow, or green peppers chopped 1 to 2 inch pieces
1 med onion chopped into 1 to 2 inch pieces
water

wash chicken, put into large pan (stock pot or dutch oven) Add catsup, splenda, soy sause, peppers and onions. mix well, add enough water to cover about 3/4 of chicken. bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 45 min to 1 hour. chicken will almost fall off bone and you will get a great sause/gravy. I like to steam califlower until soft and use it in place of rice for the gravey.

This is a big hit with the family. I don't know the exact carb count but it can't be that bad.

enjoy, Zima

Default catsup-ketchup tomato-tamato

Hello Lucy,
Some companys spell it catsup some ketchup, and I'm sure there is a product there thats the same but called something else.
Catsup is a tomato based condiment that is sweet and tangy and we use it on just about everything you would use mustard on.
If you can't find it in stores, you can order sugar-free catsup/ketchup on low carb sites. If you are trying this recipe, try 1/2 cup tomato paste, 1/2 teaspoon vinigar, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon splenda or artificial sweetner of choice. lol zima
