Default Help.. gaining on Induction..

I need ideas.. please..

I've been on Atkins Induction for over a month. I lost 15 lbs initially, then not only came to a dead stop.. but I'm seeing some wild numbers daily. I gained 5.. lost 4... lost 4.. gained 6. Bottom line is that I'm stuck. I lowered calories, raised calories, begain weight training on top of 7 days of 1 hour of cardio per day at my fat burning heart rate.

I'm type II diabetic.. I stopped ALL insulin over a month ago. I dropped all medications that I felt were contributing to my inability to lose weight. I recently ran out of the Lasix I've been taking for years, and I'm not sure I'm going to fill it.

I get carbs from creamer in coffee (3 cups a day), 1 carb and less than one from packaged turkey slices, 1 cup of either broccoli, eggplant or zucchini. 1 cup of romaine.

I've been doing the same thing with food for over a month, just changed portions.

Any ideas! I'm getting so weary and I wanna stay in the race so badly this time around.

If someone suggests a meat and egg fast, would you be so kind as to tell me how to do it?

Thank you!
God Bless
Lori

How many grams of fat are you getting a day?

You went from 310 to 265 in how long? I can't offer advice (just started this trip), but I can wonder -- does it sometimes just take patience? That's a big change for your body, maybe it just needs to take some time to get from here to there.

So far, my low carb cooking has consisted of exciting stuff like baking a bunch of chicken drumsticks and eating them, or slow cooking a bunch of steak and eating it. It won't by any means make it to a high cuisine cookbook, but it is pretty filling. :-)

Beth
