Thanks for going to the trouble of posting that, Elizellen. I don't know that Dr. A was right about the benefits, but maybe, one day, we'll have concrete answers to all of life's questions.

You need a '72 model! I found mine at the library for a freaking quarter. Great pic of Dr Atkins at his desk on the cover, one of my favorite books.

Got mine for $1 at a tent sale. The only one I had ever seen so I snatched it right up! I follow the newer plan at the moment, but its nice to have more information.

Can you post a sample menu? Also, one pound in two weeks on zero carbs? It sounds silly but maybe your scale is faulty. Get a new fangled fancy one.

looks like i'm going to have to get a new one too cause that is what i have lost in 2 weeks!
