Thumbs up Egg Salad Recipe - Zero Carbs

Makes 6 Servings:

6 eggs
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 Tbsp onion flakes
Seasoning salt, to taste
Lemon pepper, to taste
1 tsp parsley flakes
5 drops hot chili oil

Hard boil the eggs, cool, peel, and mash into a bowl with a fork or potato masher. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Carbs: 0.5 per serving
Calories: 155

Sorry, not completely carb free, although certainly low carb.
Eggs do have some carbs, so 6 eggs will have about 3 carbs.

Oh, I found the recipe in "Extreme Lo-Carb Cuisine" a cookbook by Sharron Long. It looks really good .. and the information listed after the recipe states zero net carbs.

Unfortunately you can't always believe other people's carb counts. Much best to work them out for yourself, either using Fitday or our MyPLAN.

in that recipe Sharon Long actually states it is 1 carb per serving then says the effective carb count is zero....i guess cause its actually less than 1.

Onions, I consider high in relation to many other veggies. esp. dehydrated and doesn't lemon and parsley have carbs? They lurk everywhere! It would still be low. Sounds yummy.
