Question Advice on supplements

Please help! I am getting really discouraged at how tired I am while exercizing now that I am on Atkins. I like to do advanced step classes with weight-training in between.

I am worried that taking in extra carbs will counter-act the ketosis state my body is in. However, there has to be something I can ingest that will be not negate my dieting efforts, yet give me some much-needed workout energy.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you take Potassium/Magneisum and Calcium? These are all good vitamins to take while low carbing.

I used to do high intensity Step classes too and found that I couldnt continue doing them without extra carbs. If you target your carbs around your workout they will not have a detramental effect on your weight loss. Have a snack containing some carbs and protein 1/2 hour before your workout and then wait 1 hour afterwards {for cardio/30 mins for weights} to have another carb/protein snack.

Thanks, again, for your advice. I did go and buy an Atkins multivitamin this morning, which I hope will help a lot (I know I should've been taking them earlier on!)

And I ate a little more carbs this morning before working out, and it seemed to make a big difference.

What kinds of snacks would you suggest eating before working out?
