Default Stuck...help

Hi guys...gained 30 pounds after quiting smoking (heavy smoking) I can't get my metabolism to budge...have had my thyroid checked etc.

working out 5 times a week (with a trainer, cardio and weight training) doing Atkins keeping my carbs at 20 or below...my ketosis strips show a trace...

any hints on how to kick my metabolism into gear???

thanks so much
