Default Crockpot cookin'!

Hey, Karen! I thought you'd like to know that a few of your recipes do nicely in the crockpot. This is the busiest small appliance in the kitchen these days (the coffeepot still reigns supreme). I don't have as much time to stand over my meals in the next couple weeks so I'm just tossing things into the crockpot. Almost anything with chicken works but I haven't tried the beef yet. It comes out a little different but is still very good. I do a lot of prep work on Sunday and Monday and the frig fills up with pre-prepped meals that only need to be cooked. But two days a week, I'm not home until late in the evening and DH loves to come home to dinner done since he picks up our daughter from the sitter. That crockpot is a great little appliance! Cheers!

I was interested in your using Karen's recipes for the crock-pot. Could you please tell me which ones you used? I'll like to try some of them.

Thanks in advance. Ruth

Someone used the Pork Shoulder recipe in the crock-pot and said it turned out well.

I used the pork shoulder recipe and it was absolutely delicious and I'm not a big fan of any kind of roast cooked in a crock pot.
