hello everyone! I'm brand new to the site and jus trying to share my story! Basically I'm an athletic 18 year old high school grade 12 student. I've always used my weight as an advantage in football as well as track and field "throwing not running haha" any ways in grade 6 I weighed 203lbs and went to simply for life and by grade 7 was 170 and was happier and thinner then ever! grade 8 the weight came back on and by grade 11 I was 258-264lbs and I knew I had to do something. The Low Carb diet has helped me so greatly! Through very little support from friends and discouraging comments from others I stuck with it and in three months I've lost around 45lbs and am loving it! I just wanted to say to anyone with any doubts about the program to not follow one! I never read a book or took anyones advice or took supplements, I simply started out with daily exercise(football) and cut out bread and potatoes, I have no problem leaving those things behind and haven't looked back! I've increased to pastas all fast food and pastries! I do have a cheat day once in a while to give my body a "carb shock" and you end up gaining a huge amount in that one day but then lose all of it plus in a couple days! I cant waith to continue my journey to a very healthly life style!

Brilliant.. that is extremely useful information.. I didn't read that! (about the nuts and cheese.) Almost everything you might want to bake that tastes decently, has nuts or cheese in it.. cookies, cakes, pie, breads, lasagna, cheese melts.. I though that they were a god-sent, because they were so low carb! What a bummer!!!
