I am happily starting this week with a little loss and hope heartily that is STAYS that way!!!!
WELL! JODI, you had to blow us all away with a major whoosh!
But CRICKY and KATHY, you 2 were so neck-to neck!
We all work so hard and we ALL deserve congrats, though.
CRICKLET - Good luck keeping with your planned high fats this week.
And may your fasting test results look great! I am finished with my low cal week and I will return to my usual 1200-1300 menus now. It is difficult for me to keep things so darn low. I feel in order to do so I am not meeting my fat range! I can up my fats a bit now and I will strive to be in the upper 70% range or more. Not as high as you, but I want to bring it up. I was seeing my fats in the 60's the past week.
And although I did see a couple whooshes towards the end of the week, the whole low cal thing did not do anything magical for me, and was difficult. I will continue my dandelion tea and perhaps it will stimulate some fluid loss... I do wish my doc would give me HCTZ, but she is nervous about my electrolytes, I guess. I am always too low, so I see why she feels that way. By the way, fat bombs are little treat-like snacks made from coconut oil with flavorings. There are a MILLION recipes out there. You will have to google it. I have seen some made with butter and cream cheese, too.

It was a nice treat.
But only something for a rare occasion like that for me. I tend to get sick of things very quickly, so I will not be eating an avocado for a while again. I threw out my seed, too, completely forgetting to sprout it. Next time I feel like guacamole, I will salvage that seed!
Today I am going to have bacon & eggs!!! Our neighbor's chickens FINALLY started laying, and they brought over 6 pretty brown eggs for us.
We have a dozen store-bought eggs in the fridge, too, so I feel it is egg time for me. And the BACON is always a treat!
I also have some yogurt leftover I will eat and I have to make more then. So I will have plenty of fat today and try to keep the protein lower.
Today's plan is 1282 calories, 7 carbs and 80% fat.
I hope we all have a good week for weight loss this time!!!!
