Default Is it normal to feel "sick" when thinking about induction foods?

I'm trying to do my best to stay on induction, but I've been having a REALLY hard time (very bad stomachache, headaches, just feel "bad", tired) so I've had to add some carbs in, but I've only done this with fruit. I know, don't smack me on the head, I know it's not allowed during induction however, I want to point out that I might need more carbs than other people, because I am taking Metformin/Glucophage 2000mg a day, which regulates insulin and not as many carbs don't get absorbed when taking this (as a normal person's would). Anyway, I've been having lots of eggs and sausage and stuff, and a few hours after, I feel like I'm going to THROW UP if I even THINK about that kind of food. Is this normal in the beginning and will it end???

Yes it will end. I felt dizzy the first 10 days and always had a headache. I feel much better now and have loads of energy.

I think it's only natural to be sick of eating the same thing all the time. But you can mix it around. Have steak and eggs for breakfast like I did this morning, instead of having just eggs. Make a tuna wrap with lettuce and add bacon to it. There are so many ways to make a meal look and taste good and you won't get bored or sick of it so quickly.

Good luck,

Lily

You might want to check out the PCOS forum:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdis...daysprune=&f=46

as they would have more specifics about your needs.
I'd say it all depends on the kind of food you like. Me, I dove right into all this stuff I haven't eaten in 15 years, and I'm loving every minute of it.
Some people feel better with a little more carbs and a little less fat.
