Had a great upper body workout last night. I am using The Home Workout Bible for reference and it kicks ass!

Food wise, NYBP is going pretty good. I am sooo hungry today though... Salmon salad today.

Did great yesterday..until I got home and mant. men were in my kitchen and my oven was in the hallway. A water pipe in the wall behind my oven busted and flooded the loft the 3 floors under mine. So anyway, I went for a run (already planned, it was 69 here yesterday, snow tonight though..) Ran 6 miles, hoping the would be done when I returned home. No luck.. So I took some movies back to Blockbuster and picked up a salad at Moes (California burrito place)

I had chipolite chicken with lettuce, salsa, cucumbers, olives, tomatos, a dusting of cheese and some jalapino peppers. It was soooo good and filling.

total calories eaten yesterday: around 2000, burned: 500 on run, 600 on basil. total loss this week should be .5 LB

GrooveJock- very much enjoying your posts! keep it up! I'm thinking about going on the NYBP to get my ass in shape. Have lost a few (about 6 or so) cutting out the bad carbs and crap I was eating in the past two weeks. Would like to be mean and lean and cut, tho, which means dropping about 10 lbs of fat without losing muscle or otherwise sending my body into starvation mode. any words of wisdom? Keep it up!

So I have been a lazy but and have not kept my gym log updated. I had broncitis for a few weeks so I was out of the gym for 3 weeks. It sucked.

I had the gained about 10 lbs but have lost 13 since starting the NYBP.

It was 70 here yesterday so I hit Peidmont Park. I had a kick ass run, 20 min steady, then 8 min HIIT. 20 min fast pace walk back home on Peachtree St.

I really think the HIIT is helping me shed some fat. The abs are coming back and I hpe to be back at a (small) 6 pack by June. I am going to Bahamas this summer and I wanna feel good about the way I look. Thats what it is all about anyways, right?.?.?
