Question Do I look smaller?

Basically, I have only lost nine pounds, my measurments are all pretty much the same, and I have this weird feeling that I just LOOK smaller. Not much, but some! Like I was wearing a black baby tee, and it actually looked okay! Maybe I am making my eyes make me look better, but I SWEAR that Iam seeing myself smaller with no changes in anything, not even measurments. Is it possible for that to happen??? Maybe wishful thinking had turned into a severe case of wishful SEEING.

Of course you are looking smaller, you have lost 9 pounds which is wonderful, if you think you look smaller then you must cause we are usually our own worst critic....

I'm sure that black tee looks great on you

Well done!!!

I noticed I looked smaller right from the start jeans less bulgy and shirts more smooth and better than that more confidence and feeling good inside and out.

I really felt great after losing 20 pounds I caught a glimse of my self in the mirror getting out of the shower and I thought wow is that mE!!!!!

Look at 36 sticks of butter. How could you not look smaller. Remember that often you lose weight in places you may not measure. As you lose, over the weeks you redistribute that weight. You'll see some change in the tape measure soon.

The same thing is happening to me. I think my mind is getting a little ahead of my body. I feel skinnier. I went and tried on some new clothes, though, the other day and I'm not as small as I'd like to think I am. The size I *thought* I'd be in was snugger than I expected it to be. Guess I still have a ways to go. I still feel good, though, and I'm not going to let it get me down...it's just more motivation to keep it up!

I bet you do look thinner. I first noticed that my cheeks weren't so pudgy (notice I've NOT posted a picture). Find something that weighs about 9 pounds and pick it up - WOW. (I was going to mention 2 - 5 pound bags of sugar, but of course you don't have THAT at home anymore)

Congratulation!!!!

It's really hard for a person to see changes in their body that are small because we see ourselves everyday - so little by little you adjust to the changes that are going on in your body. Believe me, I feel the same way, but when I look in the mirror, I start to wonder if what the scale says is really true. I've lost 13 pounds in the last month, so I'm happy with that, but the only thing that actually proves this to me is the fact that my pants are getting looser
