Hey there, I do the weights and aerobics at the same time, they call it circuit training, I love it. I go to a place called Curves who does it. Fun.

Sunshine, I like how you compare this addiction to other addictions. Nobody tells a recovering drug addict who relapses, "Oh well, you can't do it. Might as well just give up! Why don't you go smoke a few more?" No, we tell them, "It's okay, just try again. You can do this." We need to be as understanding with ourselves, recovering addicts as well! I think I will try to keep this in mind when I am less than perfect!
Hugs, Tama

Thanks Tama, my husband is a recovering Acholic who has not had a drink in 21 years. He knows if he has one drink, he won't be able to stop. I consider myself a recovering Carb addict. I know if I have a piece of pie, I won't stop, I'll eat the whole darn thing. So I've really tried to develop his attitude and just say, I can't have those types of foods anymore, I'm an addict. This seems to help me refrain from indulging in them. I know I will never be able to indulge in them, but thats okay, they make me feel horrilbe. Instead, I've try and find replacements for my pie, low carb replacements, so far its working. I have fallen off the wagon, but its right back to "rehab".

Tama your doing great, keep up your determination. You'll be in that bikini before you know it.
